• Discounting Finance

    Discounting finance explained.

Discounting finance is also sometimes known as receivables finance. It provides a cash prepayment against the sales invoices that are outstanding to your customers, which can also be called your debtors. Your sales ledger is made up of numerous such invoices, so you may be able to raise finance against all of them, creating a significant cash injection to your company.

    Discounting Finance

It usually refers to invoice discounting, which is the provision of funding against invoices, but with the client retaining the credit control function in-house. There are many types of invoice discounting, which are explained in our guide. To understand the full range of receivables financing facilities, and how they work, we have produced a free guide to receivables finance.
