  Merry Christmas 2020 from the team at FundInvoice!

  After such a difficult and exceptional year, our team would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas! (At least as good as it can be in the circumstances).

  Merry Christmas 2020

  2020 has been a very strange year. We have all been in and out of lockdown, impacting businesses around the country. We have been able to help some of both those that have had cash flow problems. We have also helped finance those that have capitalised on the opportunity to provide essential products and services in support of the Government's efforts, via a range of covid funding support measures.

  Covid Restrictions

  A number of our clients have seen their turnover curtailed this year, we very much hope that 2021 will bring some light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel for many. With the Covid-19 vaccine rollout in full swing, lets hope that we start to see infections reduce, enabling restrictions to be lifted so that we can all get back to something like normal. We very much hope that there will be a bounce back effect once the effect of the vaccine starts to kick in.

  Brexit Concerns

  The concerns over Brexit have almost been eclipsed by the pandemic. Brexit was a key concern at the end of last year, but the pandemic has managed to dwarf its effects. We are still hopeful of a deal, even at this eleventh hour, but there will be disruption for importers and exporters whatever the outcome. Commentators are anticipating delays and disruptions at the ports and an inevitable impact on costs from tariffs in a no-deal situation, or as a result of the delays even if we do manage to secure a deal at the last minute. There seems to be some positivity about a last minute agreement with the EU, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for that.

  We hope you all have some respite over the Christmas break, and are able to finally catch up with relatives under the relaxed guidelines.
